What we cover
Surveys are arranged to answer a specific question — fitness for purpose, purchase risk, extent of damage, or readiness after repair — not as open-ended inspection for its own sake.
- Condition surveys
- Assessment of overall condition and maintenance status to support operational or commercial decisions.
- Pre-purchase assessments
- Focused inspection and reporting to help buyers understand vessel condition before commitment.
- Damage and repair surveys
- Recording of damage, review of proposed repairs and follow-up inspection where required.
- How surveys are delivered
- Delivered by Conscious Marine: scoping, coordination, technical review of findings and advice on what they mean for your decision.
- Coordinated with independent surveyors or partners: on-site inspection where the vessel’s location or the qualifications required call for a locally appointed surveyor.
- Dependent on scope: the choice of surveyor turns on the type of survey, the qualifications or authorisation required, and where the vessel is. We confirm who will attend, and on what basis, before work begins.
- Who it is for
